March 13, 2020 Update from our President & CEO

The last few months and especially the last week have tested us and many of the countries we operate in across the globe.  Since news of the Coronavirus first broke, our primary focus has been the health and well being of our employees, our workplaces and the communities in which we operate in Canada, Spain and the United States. 

Through our consumer websites and television programming on The Weather Network, MeteoMedia, El Tiempo, Clima and Otempo we will continue to do what we do to keep our users safe and informed regarding weather and weather related information, but will also do what we can to keep you informed of how the virus is spreading and how you can prepare and deal with this crisis in your community.  

To do our part in reducing community transmission and ‘flattening the curve,’ all our employees in Europe and North America, who perform work that can be done remotely, will be working offsite starting today.  We are following all the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and continue to implement precautionary measures.  

Our mission is to keep our users and viewers safe and informed. Our employees will continue to work tirelessly to deliver on this mission in the weeks and the months to come.
