Sam Sebastian leaves company following five-year term as President and CEO

OAKVILLE, Ont., Oct. 4, 2022 – Today, Pelmorex Corp., is announcing the departure of its President and Chief Executive Officer, Sam Sebastian, effective Oct. 28, 2022. Sebastian will be replaced on an interim basis by Pelmorex founder and Executive Chairman, Pierre L. Morrissette.

Sebastian joined the company in 2017 from Google Canada and returns there to lead its Cloud team. He created a strong culture during his tenure at Pelmorex while also leading the company through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I want to thank Sam for his dedication to Pelmorex Corp., over the last five years. He has led this company with tenacity, empathy, resilience, all while putting our people first,” said Morrissette. “I am focused on finding a successor as quickly as possible who will take the vision for the company forward.

Morrissette said his confidence in the current executive team at Pelmorex is unwavering as the company moves forward amid a period of innovation and growth. The leadership search will be led by Morrissette with input from Pelmorex’s board of directors and the executive leadership team.
