Our Interview Process
At Pelmorex we believe in making this process seamless, valuable, enjoyable and less nail-biting. Nervous? Don’t be! Here’s everything you need to know about our interview process!
What Can I Expect?
1st round – Phone Screen
Get to know us and the role better. A quick run through of your professional experience and better understand what you are looking for as a next career move with our Talent Acquisition specialist.
2nd Round – Chat with the Hiring Manager
Dig deeper into the role, responsibilities, learn more about the team. Let’s get to know each other better and decide whether your experience and our role could be a match#win-win.
If this is a virtual interview it would be through Google Hangouts

3rd Round – Assignment/Technical round/ Panel Interview
We want to give you an opportunity to show us what you can do. Give us a peek into your ideas and thought process. This stage will give you another opportunity to brag about your skills and show us your technical expertise in action. Depending on the role, this could either be a quick assignment or a panel interview.

Final Round – Meet & greet with senior Management and/or the Team
This is as much about you as it is about us. The more information the better. The more people you can meet the better. This will help you make the best decision for you (and us). We want to give you an opportunity to have an informal meet and greet with your senior management and other people on the team. Ask them questions. Put them on the spot. Get to know the team better.

Post Interview Feedback
We acknowledge and are grateful that you are making the time to meet with us. So, we think it’s only fair that we give you feedback in return. We aim to give you an update within a week of your interview. We are committed to doing our absolute best to never leave a candidate hanging!

How Can I Prepare?
Pre Interview Prep:
- We use Google meets for meetings and interviews. If you haven’t already, please download Google Hangout and make sure your audio and video settings are working. Who will you be meeting with? We encourage you to read the LinkedIn profiles of the people you’ll be meeting with. .
- Do your homework and get to know us better. Scroll through our Company page, familiarize yourself with the job profile. We know interviewing isn’t always easy. Let us know how we can help to make this a more positive experience for you, especially if you need any additional information, accommodation or assistance to help you during the interview
Day of the Interview:
- Make sure your computer is fully charged
- We’re a casual group here at Pelmorex. There is no need to break out a suit for your interview (unless you want to, of course). We encourage you to just be comfortable!
- Review your presentation (if you’re doing one)
- Breathe, enjoy a drink of water, and most importantly be yourself :)
- Pro Tip: Don’t forget to check the weather and enjoy some fresh air outside if it permits, for a boost of positive energy.
During the Interview:
- Why fit in.. when you can stand out! We believe “Culture Add is Value Add” and want you to be as comfortable as possible and bring your authentic self to the interview.
- Be prepared to talk about your background and experience. Whether it’s previous work experience, internships, school, extracurriculars or anything else relevant.
- Our goal is to learn about you and what skills you could bring to the team.
- Most questions will be behavioral, don’t worry we don’t ask those curveballs questions that have you pulling your hair out. We can ensure that our questions are meant to be thoughtful for the role you are applying for.
- This is also your chance to get to know us better. Have your questions ready – we love questions that put us on the spot!!
Presentations:
- There are no right or wrong answers. There are no right or wrong formats. Share your thought process. Share your ideas in any format that works for you!
