Our Values
Our values shape our culture. They define the character of our company & guide how we all behave & make decisions every day.
Pelmorex Cares
We began with the holiday season, and helped hundreds of families in the Greater Toronto Area and Montreal through employee volunteer time and donations. In 2008, donations were given to the United Way, Les Magasins-Partage, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and the Halton Region Sponsor a Family Program for Christmas.
Starting in 2012, Pelmorex Cares began focusing corporate and employee donations on children and adolescent mental health initiatives. Beginning with a two-year campaign to raise funds for the Mental Wellness Navigator Program via the Oakville Hospital Foundation, Pelmorex and its employees raised more than $115,000 for the program.
In 2015, Pelmorex chose the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook as the next beneficiary for the Pelmorex Cares Campaign, eventually raising more than $100,000 through employee and corporate donations.
Beyond the Pelmorex Cares Campaign, Pelmorex. continues to set funds aside for the United Way (mental health agencies only), Les Magasins-Partage in Montreal and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Pelmorex Learning Academy
Pelmorex encourages employee training and development to provide employees with an opportunity to broaden their skills for professional career growth.
Training and development assists employees in enhancing current work performance and meeting future career goals and aspirations.
Pelmorex encourages employee development by providing employees with specific training to enhance their skills within their current position or for within other areas of the company.
Raves & Recognition
Raves and Recognition is about recognizing employees who go above and beyond the call of duty while demonstrating one of our core Values!
Our goal is to build a culture of recognition at Pelmorex, by “recognizing” and “acknowledging” when employees create WOW and live our values!
Pelmorex Indigenous Scholarship Opportunity
The Pelmorex Corp Indigenous Student Award will be distributed annually to an Indigenous student who is attending any post-secondary institute or program within Canada, encouraging and assisting students in their pursuit for higher education. Check out The Pelmorex Scholarship here.
