Marc Morrissette

President & Chief Investment Officer, Pelmorex Investments Inc.
Marc Morrissette is the Executive Chairman of Pelmorex Corp and Chief Investment Officer at Pelmorex Investments Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the digital media industry, he has held senior leadership roles spanning Strategy, Corporate Development, and International Growth. Marc began his career in sales at Rogers Media before advancing into key strategic positions. He holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) from the DeGroote School of Business, and has completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

Pierre L. Morrissette

CEO, Pelmorex Investments Inc.
Born in Montreal, Pierre built a successful career in banking and telecommunications before founding Pelmorex in 1989. Under his leadership, the company’s brands — The Weather Network, MétéoMédia and Eltiempo— have become market leaders in weather-related media and multi-platform information services.

Maureen Rogers

President & CEO, Pelmorex
With over 30 years of experience in Canadian media, technology and finance, including 13 years at Pelmorex, Maureen has held several senior leadership roles, including CEO of Pelmorex’s TV Networks and Managing Director of Weather Canada, which includes the Digital and TV brands known as The Weather Network and MétéoMédia, as well as Alert Ready/En Alerte, Canada’s public emergency alerting system. Ms. Rogers holds a bachelor’s in business administration, is a Chartered Accountant and is also certified from the Rotman School of Management Directors Education Program.

Geoff Browne

Corporate Director
R. Geoffrey Browne is the Founder and Managing Partner of MWI & Partners, a private equity firm he established in 1996. With over 40 years of experience in financial services across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., he has held senior leadership roles at CIBC and Merrill Lynch. Geoffrey holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and serves on numerous corporate and not-for-profit boards.

Alysia Charlton

Managing Director, Pelmorex Investments Inc. & Group CFO
Alysia Charlton joined Pelmorex as Corporate Controller in 1995 and has grown alongside the company, taking on increasing leadership responsibilities. In 2014, she was appointed Group CFO, overseeing the financial management of all Pelmorex properties.

Allan Donald

Corporate Director
Al is a corporate director and finance professional with nearly 40 years at Deloitte, where he held global leadership roles in brand, marketing, communications, and business development. He has advised many of Canada’s top technology and consumer businesses and contributed to the accounting profession through roles with the Accounting Standards Board and CPA Canada. Al serves on multiple corporate and non-profit boards and holds the FCPA, FCA, and ICD.D designations. He is also a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program (SEP).

Sharon Hodgson

Corporate Director
Sharon Hodgson is the former Dean of the Ivey School of Business. She currently serves as a Board Director for IGM Financial Inc. (IGM:TSE), Toromont Industries Limited (TIH: TSE) and as a member of the Government of Ontario Minister of Finance, Planning for Prosperity Advisory Board. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at IBM Global Business Services, most recently leading its $3B Artificial Intelligence, Watson™ and Advanced Analytics Consulting business. Sharon holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba.

R. Kelly Shaughnessy

R. Kelly Shaughnessy dedicated over 30 years to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, where he held multiple senior leadership roles. In 2000, he joined the Canadian Bankers Association, where he led the Banking Operations Division and managed key relationships with the federal government.

Chris Zook

Chris Zook is a best-selling author on leadership and strategy, an Advisory Partner at Bain & Company, and a CEO coach with Feigen Advisors. He spent most of his career at Bain, helping grow it into a global consulting leader. For over two decades, he led Bain’s Global Strategy Practice, advising companies on profitable growth, adaptability and entrepreneurship. Through his client work, leadership and writing he has guided organizations in overcoming challenges and achieving long-term success.
